Acts 4: ¹² There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among mortals by which we must be saved."

 

It is somewhat uncomfortable to raise the uniqueness of our faith in Jesus Christ in a multi-cultural, inclusivistic world. All religious expressions are considered equal and are protected as such by many legal and governmental agencies. Christian are pictured as hate-mongers who refuse to accept other people as they are. Some portray us as war mongers , as well.

 

In the face of this hostile environment we present Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace. We offer him as the solution to war, poverty and discrimination of all kinds. He is the one who takes our broken lives and promises a new life with God for eternity. In him all tears are wiped away and the sorrow of death and suffering are removed. How can we not serve him and love him.

 

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life.       No one comes to the Father except through me.
